National Eosinophilic Week (NEOSW) is taking place from 3-9 August 2025. Hosted by Australia’s leading support organisation for eosinophilic diseases, ausEE Inc, since 2011 to raise awareness for eosinophilic diseases. Eosinophils are a type of white blood cell, and NEOSW aims to increase community awareness and understanding of eosinophil-associated diseases. Over 40 landmarks will be lit up pink and purple alongside a “Wear it pink and purple” day. You can find out more about how you can get involved in spreading EOS awareness and take part in their Top 8 challenge.
Researchers at our CRE are dedicated to finding out more about these diseases: including recent PhD graduate Dr Raquel Cameron, whose recent work on colonic diverticular disease revealed it may be both a mucosal and submucosal eosinophilic intestinal disease. Read our blog on Raquel’s research for further information.
