Digestive Health Biobank: How You Can Help

  • News

Researchers at the University of Newcastle are currently recruiting participants for the Digestive Health Biobank, as well as for Advanced Diagnostic Pathogen Screening in IBS (ADAPT) and Body Surface Gastric Mapping studies.

Our Digestive Health Biobank (DHB) focuses specifically on gastrointestinal (gut) health and related disorders. It includes samples and health data from both hospital patients and community members who have agreed to take part. These samples are stored for future research into gut-related conditions.

They are looking for a wide range of people to participate; including healthy controls, people with symptoms and no diagnosis, as well as people diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Functional Dyspepsia and Gastroparesis.

For more information on each individual study, please view our CRE Studies Recruiting Now page.
